What is network alerting?
Network alerting involves having a 24/7 staff with the tools needed
to make sure your network is available and alerts on any issues.
What level of Network Alerting does TechTell
provide?
TechTell alerts on all network elements and services that keep your network
operating and functioning at optimal efficiency 24/7
How long is a typical deployment?
A typical deployment of 45 devices and 200 services will take about 2
weeks to implement. TechTell will gather the needed network information
and then configure the appropriate M series hardware device for shipment.
The M series device will show up with instructions on how to implement
it into your network. Once completed tested are performed. Parallel to
this the operations center is trained on your organization and process’s.
Does TechTell have 24/7 staffing?
Yes, TechTell has 24/7 staffing in two diverse locations.
Can TechTell create custom alerting packages
outside of what you have listed?
Yes, TechTell provides custom alerting packages and the packages we
have listed usually a starting point for customization.
What does TechTell do when an alarm is created?
TechTell aggregates the alarms and then isolates the problem. Once the
alarms are isolated TechTell performs an outbound call to customer defined
contacts.
What if we have a schedule for on-call etc. during
different days?
TechTell has an integrated contact system that allows for you the customer
to keep everything updated via a secure login, thus feeding into our system
when the information is needed for contact.
Can we see our information?
Yes, you have the ability to see the same information for your organization
that the operations center sees. This includes all devices and their status as well as any open tickets.
Can you feed an external ticketing system if
we already have one deployed?
Yes, we can set up our system to email information to your system or setup
a gateway.
If we already have a alerting system deployed
can we send the alerts to your group?
Yes, we have the ability to talk with many of the popular alerting systems.
We then feed the alerts into our system and manage them the same way operationally
on our side through our system.
Can we have alerting done with out an M series
hardware box?
Yes, alerting can be implemented however a high-level of alerting
is available with a hardware device.
What is the M series alerting hardware?
The box is a Linux based device that runs our software probes and talks
back to our 24/7 operations center through secure communications.
